The T0P0L0G1ES exhibition gathers the works of the Art of Failure collective (Nicolas Maigret & Nicolas Montgermont) around questions of sensible representations of digital datas. The works displayed here are exploring the connexions between our tangible space and the immaterial spaces of information. The serie of projects called Laps is scrutinizing the internal vibrations of the worldwide communication network, like a seismis analysis. It offers a perception of the intangible digital space proper to the internet network. The serie Flat Earth Society navigates at the heart of global cartographic datas, and offers a sonic experience of the terrestrial topography.

Les pièces présentées explorent les connexions entre notre espace concret et les espaces immatériels de l’information. La série de projets Laps scrute les vibrations internes du réseau de communication mondiale à la manière d’une analyse sismique. Elle propose ainsi une perception de l’espace numérique et intangible propre au réseau Internet. La série Flat Earth Society navigue au coeur des données cartographiques globales, et propose une expérience sonore des reliefs terrestres.
